It is around the year 2000; it must be 8 or 9 p.m.

While visiting his family, the Author witnesses an event that will change history.

A neighbor jumps from the third floor, head down. And dies instantly. Right in front of Him.

He has just had an argument with his wife. Unable to contain his grief, he decides to end his life. Deeply affected by this scene, the Author becomes  vegetarian and has his first experience of Illumination.
